​     Pontiac’s mid-sized car of today has had quite a run from a very odd looking Grand Am of the late eighties to what we have today, which has done very well in its market over the past decade.  

​            It seems Acura is stepping up to the plate next year when it releases its new and redesigned RL model.  Acura seems to be moving up the luxury sport sedan market and its new RL model is the perfect fit for that market and the only model from Acura, which is not yet a sport sedan.  

​            Chevrolet has gone a long way with is Cavalier name but it seems for this design change Chevy wanted to strip the car completely down to the ground and start over once again.
