Sedan
But to be honest how many people would consider a Bugatti to be similar to a Maybach. This year has seen many changes to this segment. With the comeback of the luxury four door convertible, to the release of new convertible. And the news has only started, with this segment to see a new low end Rolls-Royce by 2010 and possibly a new Maybach sedan or coupe. This year like many others, had to go to the only High End mark, which prides itself on power and sporty looks. Considering how hard it is to create a sporty looking machine from a boxlike design, Bentley always knows how to do it right. Since the late 80’s, Bentley has been making its two-door coupes look good, even for a box. And for this year it was none other than the 2009 Bentley Brooklands, which received the AutoLooks A+ award. With its large wheels and powerful stance it’s no wonder why Bentley takes the win. Considering that round headlights never really look good, the Brooklands makes them look good. With this years Rusty car of the year, its no wonder why this car received this award. From its odd front lights, to the cheap looking roof, which does not even suit the car, the 2009 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe takes the Rusty. Although it is suppose to compete with the Brooklands, the Phantom Coupe, does not even look like it suppose to be in this category. The car looks like it is made of plastic, as well as the rims, and who can really fall in love with the headlights. Now it is nice to see that Rolls-Royce added the rear hinged doors to the Phantom Coupe, but not even the door handles they used, look like they’re worth a lot. For being the cheapest looking half a million dollar car it is no wonder why the Phantom Coupe takes the win. Everett J.
