2010 Honda Element design review

​            Oh, look someone learned how to make a grille that evokes a truck appeal.  Too bad they added it to a box on wheels whose long list of design fumbles have earned it a one-way trip to the designer’s garbage dump.  Of course, we are talking about the 2010 Honda Element, a vehicle with started out with more plastic on it then what is contained in a playground.  

        Last year everyone thought that Honda had finally tuned the corner on bad designs when they released the Element SC, but that was one short lived dream.  When you can turn your worst design into something people actually like to look at, why would you go out and do this to it.  I would have to say the worst new feature with the Element is the truck inspired grille.  Considering Honda does not even build a true truck, its hard to even call this a truck grille.
