2010 Luxury Sedan design Ratings
millions of others, that is not me making money in this time of peril. Well, if it was me, I might be driving something other than a base model mid-size sedan, which just happens to be ten years old. So now you all know that really, I don’t have a bias to any one car company since I own cars of companies I write badly about. For this year we do have three new entries, well actually four, just one has two different models. One car on this year’s list is an on again off again car, since its parent company cannot decide if it wants to sell it, cut it up or kill it off. All we know is that by the end of this year the Chinese will own at least one part of it. Now with a segment such as this, you might expect to see some cutting-edge design work, or even some new design aspects. Not this year, maybe we will have to wait until 2011 before we see some life changing designs. Of course, we all thought that back in the early 2000’s until BMW brought us the duck-tailed 7-Series. Now who would have thought that was a good idea. And now onto the winners and losers of this year. For this year it only seemed fitting that the only non-boring car would win the A+ award. So, for that we name the 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class the AutoLooks A+ award winner. And considering that two of these designs were fairly bland it makes you wonder which one will win for the worst car of the year. Well for that we would have to name the oddly styled 2010 Saab 9-5 the winner of the Rusty award this year. For going back to your odd design theme of the 1980’s we applaud Saab for not listening to anyone, about their design theme. Everett J. #autolooks
