2010 Mazda CX-9 design review

​            Well, here we are taking a hit at one of the forefathers of the CUV market, the 2010 Mazda CX-9.  Although the first generation did not have a lot of major problems, it seems that with a revise the CX-9 is still lacking.  Being the bigger brother of the CX-7, you would think that the older brother would be a bit more refined.  

       Well inside it may be, but on the outside it is not.  It seems that Mazda has decided to follow the crowd and add a happy face grille to the front of the CX-9 to make it more a part of the cool crowd.  Added to this is the over abundance of plastic body cladding which runs the entire bottom of the CX-9.  This does look good in some colors but with others it just makes it look cheap.  And lastly it would have been nice if Mazda had made its headlights more aggressive.  Come on bring down the top corner to add more an evil aspect to the front end.
