2010 Pontiac G8 Sport Truck Design Review

​            It just so happens that our last truck is one that was never meant to be.  If it had been released it would have been the only truck of its kind in North America, filling a void which has been empty since the late 1980’s.  But for now, we will just have to go on hoping that Chevrolet will bring out its own version some time soon.  

      For its last year of life, I believe that GM should have sold the 2010 Pontiac G8 Sport truck.  It may not have been a big seller, but they could have made it a limited model and sold them for more than they originally had hoped for.  But for now, we will take some time and talk about the good and bad aspects of a truck that almost was.

       One of the only problems with the Sport truck was the lower air ducts.  They just seemed that they could have been so much more rather than a pair of ovals.  Next GM could have gotten rid of that lip created in the roof when they cut the rear half off of the G8.  And lastly it would have been a nice touch to add a side air duct to follow the body line.
