2010 Vauxhall Astra VXR Design REview

​            Now for our next model you might think, yeah, it’s another GM model gone wrong.  And yes, you would be right, but of course this almost became a Canadian model.  Man, we dodged a bullet on that one.  So now we would like to take a look 

​at the 2010 Vauxhall Astra VXR.  This is one model which almost seems that GM did touch, but they may have been watched closely by the people at Opel.  And why would I say that, well for one the car is lowered to the perfect height, the rims have been brought in by an aftermarket company, the lights have been reworked to give it a crystal appeal and someone has added a racing inspired body kit and paint job.  Now for the GM aspects of the car we will have to look at how it really does not inspire racing.  Well, there’s not much but it still does exist, and it exists through the front end.

       Although the lights have been reworked it would have been nice to add some eyelids to the lights to add a more aggressive appeal.  And second it would have been nice for someone to rework the front grille.  Using the same grille which the base model has, is not a good aftermarket strategy.
