Muscle Car/Racing - High Performance Who would have ever thought that Dodge would be the one to push the envelope on the separation between the street and the strip. And did they ever close the gap between the separation as the Challenger Demon is a street legal dragster. Sure it doesn't look the part, but be sure that it is the real deal. When you can do the 1/4 mile under 10 seconds and your street legal, then you have a true street drag car. From front to rear the Challenger Demon is not much different outside than the Hellcat or SRT versions of the Challenger. Under the hood is where you will really find the difference. And no its not the last of the Viper V10's. That would have been cool, but really this is a full blown Hemi V8 which has been fine tuned to make it down the 1/4 mile in under 10 seconds. One feature that you will find only on the Demon are the drag pack tires and rims. Which along with the widened wheel wells make it fit the part of a true dragster. This also helps you keep your tires safe when parking it at your local Wal-Mart. But lets face it you won't be parking it at Wal-Mart, your going to be the one doing doughnuts in the parking lot. Well let's hold up our glasses and congratulate Dodge on creating a true beast among us. Everett J. OVERALL SCORE: 66.52% |
