2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid S Package - the new Niche
Has Chrysler entered into a new and unexplored niche within the confines of an existing market. Well lets hope so as maybe others will follow suit.
It seems so long ago we were talking about he arrival of the Tesla Roadster and how it was going to change peoples perception of the EV-Hybrid marketplace. But today it seems that Chrysler is looking to change that perception once again with their new special edition for the Pacifica. Sure no ever asked for a performance orientated hybrid and neither did anyone who did ask for one, asked for that model to be a minivan. But I guess when you want to change peoples perception of the hybrid world, you might as well start with your bread and butter and for Chrysler that's the Pacifica.
And as with any other company out there it is always best to take a chance on your bread winner, because if it fails there, then it wouldn't have made it anywhere. But why again would they did this to a minivan. Well lets take a look at the marketplace for minivans.
2018 MS-RT Ford Transit Custom - A true van
We all know that most of you out there believe that we at AutoLooks are not that big of fans of Vans. That is true about minivans as most of us prefer to be seen in a SUV or large CUV. I get it, the large CUV's out there today are just lifted Vans without sliding doors, but really they do look better. And on top of that they ride better, as our week long with a Grand Caravan has shown us that minivans are not the best thing in snow and slush, were as the CUV is. But can a Van really become better enough than a CUV to persuade us the Van side.
