2005 Cadillac sts
full size luxury - sedan
The Seville replacement the STS has some very large shoes to fill since the Seville has been around for some time now and has come to gather a rather large following amongst fellow Cadillac owners. With very large shoes to fill the new STS had better live up to what its predecessor did and hopefully fill in some other holes not yet filled by other Cadillac models.
With the company’s new edgy styling, the new STS is guaranteed to develop some new fans among those who already like the new design theme of Cadillac. The new STS features some design elements form other company models as well as adding in some new features to the line. The face of the STS features the well-known front grille of other Cadillac models but adds onto those by adding in some new front bumper features including of new fog lamp ports. The new fog lamp ports stick out from the sides of the yet curvy front bumper to give the STS its own design feature to add onto the already boxy front end. The front end features rather large headlamps, which follow the hood line and grille lines around the front end of the car. Considering that the front headlamps are monstrously big they do fit well with the boxy design of this car. The front grille of the STS is nice but it seems to circular to fit with the rest of the front-end design of the new STS.
Cadillac has added its chrome CTS wheels to the STS, which gives the car a more upscale, look but do seem to be quite small for this car. Following the hood line to the roof you are able to point some key features borrowed from the Deville model with it’s closed in and rather box like top end. From the roof and onto the rear of the STS, you can point out another feature borrowed from the Deville model with its very large rear tail lamps which seem to blind everyone else on the road. With a little lip on the rear trunk lid, the STS has added some sport appeal to the rear of the car but at the same time added a rather odd looking trunk in the creation of the lip. With its edgy styling and large stance over the road, the new STS is sure to win the hearts of those crazed box lovers and hopefully those of Cadillac owners already.
