2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The new 2005 Grand Cherokee is a step into the future of where Jeep is headed.  For this new Jeep the look is a little different then what we’ve seen over the past few years but what we have come to expect from Jeep.
The new Grand Cherokee shows hints from the Commander concept from a few years ago, and uses them well in this new model.  Not much has changed for the new 2005 model compared to the previous, but the changes made are yet good and bad.  Jeep has added its new circular headlamp look to the new Grand Cherokee, which has given it the new Jeep look but has also given it a sad looking face.  The new headlamps take away from the once aggressive looking front of the previous model and gives this new model a new and uncertain face to the future.  This new and bold move from Jeep is not what we have come to expect when it comes to the Grand Cherokee model, who won consumers hearts as a bold looking high end SUV.  As on other Jeep models the company has added its high wheel flares, which is expected when it comes to a Jeep.  The new 5 point split rims added to this model come off as a good touch, but could prove to be some work when it comes to cleaning mud off of and out from inside of them.  Another bold move for Jeep is the addition of a chrome grille to the new 2005 Grand Cherokee, which should have not been added to this sad looking front.  The new grille comes off looking a little bit cheap and less refined for this once luxurious looking Jeep model.  The new and more refined rear on the new Grand Cherokee is a nice new added touch of bold off roading truck, which is what the Grand Cherokee stands for.  The rear is where you see most of the design aspects that were seen on the Commander concept a few years ago.  Altogether this new Grand Cherokee might be a step in the right or wrong direction for this once inspiring top end model of Jeep.
