supercar - high performance

Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster
Celebrating the release of its second model in a long while, Lamborghini is showing no signs that it’s slowing the release of other models.  With the rise in the number of convertible supercars today, it was no wonder that Lamborghini would let this market go unanswered for.
From a company known for being a leader in the supercar market, it was no surprise that it would release a knockout drop top to its model line by using its already famous Murcielago model.  With very minimal changes to the actual model, Lamborghini has yet created a great car out of one they already make.  Although the Roadster may seem to be an exact replica of its hardtop companion it is a model all of its own.  From the front lip to the windshield and to the large and very exotic front headlamps, there are no changes to the front end of this Murcielago sibling.  Lamborghini has yet changed the wheel design of the Murcielago which are included on the Roadster model, which feature a look of those that where on the Diablo model of the past.
The side still features the side air port which adds a great design feature and creates the illusion that the car is actually lower than it really is.  On top is where the major change exists since there is no top on this Murcielago.  Lamborghini has taken the pointed design of the tops of the interior seats and stretched them down onto the back of the car to add a great looking triangle feature to the rear of the car.  From the top to the rear nothing else really has changed with its curled rear with three rear-featured airports for escaping air from the large V12 engine house in the rear of the car.  The rear exhaust ports are still center and still house those extremely large exhaust pipes which also let that big V12 engine breath a lot easier.  Altogether the new Murcielago Roadster is sure to see a following amongst the rich weekend warrior types and those who dream of owning one of these great cars.
