compact - coupe

Scion tC
With the baby boomers holding the largest stake in the automotive marketplace one company stands alone in its quest for the dominance in the small but growing market of youths.
Scion has come along way in just a short while but it has already created a dominance in the youth marketplace so fitting with dominance Scion has decided to expand its limited model to include now a coupe to go along with the sport hatch and tall wagon it already delivers.  The new Scion tC will be the car that will launch Scion into the sport coupe craze of many young buyers.  The tC like its siblings has its own sense of style, which sets it apart from many other cars in its class, but as we all know Scion likes to stand out in the crowd.  On its own like its siblings the tC is a relatively boring car but with a little tuner magic this car will defiantly turn heads.  The simple looking front end has potential but needs to pull its front grille back from the bumper and make it follow with the hood to give it a sleeker looking front end.  The front bumper on this car is a well-designed mix with the rest of the car, which seems to flow with it.
The front headlamps have a relatively sleek look to them but would look better with a little more flare and a bit more edge to make them seem more aggressive and give that feeling like it’s a car waiting for its prey.  The 6-point split rims are a nice touch but the car would have been better off with a 5-point or 6-point non-split.  Following the bar side to the back enc we see where Scion spent little time.  The rear lights are slightly irregular for this car but do have a nice touch that goes with the sport hatch look.  But the real problem is that the back enc of this car is too short, it should have been extended of the back window flattened out to give it more of a sport coupe look rather than a sport hatch look.  The rear bumper is one that seems to stand out on this car, and it doesn’t matter which angle you look at this car from you can still see that the rear bumper sticks out from the rest of the back.  With the design the tC uses the car is the perfect fit for a sedan or convertible, but maybe we will just have to wait and see if Scion wants to expand the line.  Scion maybe just a young company but it still has come along way in a short time, and with the addition of the tC it is showing that it wants to stand out where no one else will.
