comeback. The true king of the Muscle Cars is now dead, and has been turned into a sedan, the next big wig has finally made a comeback, and has comeback in its former glory. With the re-introduction of the muscle car craze, it’s a wonder at what is next for this market. Will anyone else try their hand at it, or will they let the Big Three fight it out. But for this year, we have to name the original muscle car, from the company, which started the craze, back in the 60’s, the true winner. So for this year the AutoLooks A+ award goes to the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. Really when you see this car, you have to stop and really appreciate what was re-created. From its large, modern-classic wheels to those angry eyes, peering at you from behind the front lip. Everything about this car is great. The only real flaw is the rear taillights, they should have been inserted a bit more into the rear and had rough edges, to give it a more classic feel. Now this year there were only two real muscle cars to choose from, but one did have a couple of variations added to it. And one of its variations made it look a little feminine and slow. That’s why the 2008 Ford Mustang GT California Special is AutoLooks Rusty muscle car of the year. Convertibles are usually hard to make look muscular in the first place, but Ford really let the car go when they added that dreadful looking side skirt. It looks like a cheap added feature to get more money out a of an already good car. Everett J.
