2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe

Full Size luxury - Coupe / Convertible

​​      With a final score of 46.09%, the new E-Class is sure to stay in its place.  There are a few competitors around now, and it seems that MB didn't want to step up their game.  Guess MB is following the same game plan as BlackBerry.  Good luck to you Mercedes.

    Well it seems that Mercedes is following the same game plan as BlackBerry.  Remember them, yeah we sort of do.  So we are guessing that MB hired the last remaining members of the original board to front the new E-Class project.  That might explain why with so much competition coming from Infiniti, Lexus, BMW, Audi and soon Genesis, they might want to stir the pot.  But I guess that MB didn't want to do that this time.

    Next time around maybe they will heat up the luxury coupe market and make a triumphant return to the top.  This would make for a better story, but really keeping your market is better than fighting to get it back.  It's harder to gain the trust of new consumers then to retain them.

    So we hope that Mercedes really knows what they are doing.  Cause we all hope that the E-Class would have stayed as the pinnacle of the luxury coupe market.  Well here's to you in five years.

2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Convertible

​      With a final score of 51.74%, the new E-Class Cabrio is an update on a losing situation.  Sure the E-Class use to be a gold standard in the luxury would, but due to its last few designs, it's now a dying model.  And on top of that the whole coupe/convertible segments are dying as well.

Front End: C 
      Good: Well we all know what it is
      Bad: Matching grilles could work
Rear End: C+
      Good: Chrome accents make the rear nice
      Bad: Flat lights
Side: C-
      Good: Rear brake ducts
      Bad: All too round lines
Overall Appeal: C
      Good: It is a luxury car
      Bad: An all too natural layout
