2018 Volkswagen Arteon

​      With a final score of 67.83%, the new Arteon is sure to be a show stopper.  Of course that is what its predecessor the CC already did.  This time around its the Arteon's turn to shake up the Sports Saloon segment.  And we think its here to get its point across.

    Well even with its Diesel-Gate still happening, Volkswagen is not stopping.  And that non-stopping way of doing business is creating some of this decade's best new secrets.  With the release of its new CC replacement, the Arteon, VW is setting its sights on some bigger fish.  Yes we all know that the the CC built the sports saloon market for average cars, and its time to pass the mantle onto the next in line.  And the next in line is the Arteon.

    Up front VW is setting itself apart form the crowd as it fully integrates the headlights into the profile of the front grille.  This creates a blend feature which gives you the illusion that the headlights are part of the grille.  Even though we are headed that way, the Arteon is not that car.  This is just an illusion to make the front better.

    Out back the smooth edges have been roughed out to make a better hard edged profile.  This will help the Arteon attract some more males into the showroom floor and behind the wheel of this gorgeous ride.

    Along the side the wheels have been increase in size and few more hard edges have been added in.  This too will help this model attract a few more male clientele.

   All around the new Arteon is sure to be a hit within both the sports saloon and coupe marketplace.  Sure it is just a rebirth, but this is the rebirth of a Phoenix, not a mouse.
