2018 Volkswagen Atlas

Full Size - CUV (copycat Award)

​​     With a final score of 49.13%, the new Atlas is a good way to introduce the bigger world to VW.  Too bad it comes at the expense of Jeep.  Maybe next time VW will use their own design language instead of Jeeps.

    Well I guess you could say its about time for VW to enter the 7 seater game. But too bad their Full Size contender is all too plain and a copycat of another company.  
    Sure VW showcases their new truck like front end along with the hard working man edges.  But out back they seem to have lost their way and borrowed the rear end of the Jeep Grand Cherokee.  Sure you may not notice it right away, but its there.  Take a good long look at the back window line, the tail lights and even the chrome strip.  Then take a look at the previous generation Grand Cherokee.  See how their similar.

     This could be due to "DieselGate" or it could just be laziness.  Whatever it is, we don't care.  For this mistake we are handing VW a copycat award.  Lets hope you can learn from your past mistakes and make better on them next time around.
