Sure this refresh does allow the Camaro to keep up with the new image for the Chevrolet product line, but really the current model had another 18 months left in her. It is nice to see that Chevrolet is trying to keep all of their product line the same, but really do you have to do it all at the same time. Take a hint from Mercedes and update one product every 4 - 6 months. That way your consumers can adjust to the new design language and be better able to handle all of these changes. You have to remember who your average consumers are and what they come to expect from you. As a base brand you can't culture shock them with all of these new designs, because they're just going to get overwhelmed with all of these changes. We are happy to see that Chevrolet has brought back the four-square lights to the rear to help this new model feel more like a Camaro and less like a Honda Prelude. But we do not like the addition of the new Silverado's front clip. This wasn't even that good on the new Silverado, so why are you adding it to one of your halo cars. Guess they didn't get the point when we said that this seems to be a slight rip-off of the new Lexus spindle front end. But hey this is Chevrolet and it's not like they are a company who leads the pack. They are rather the followers of the pack, where they are always entering the markets which others create. Oh wait that was the original idea behind the Camaro as it was created after the Mustang developed the muscle car market. Too bad for the changes Chevrolet and we hope that maybe next time you could possibly be the innovator of the market, not the copycat follower. And we hope that you hold out a bit longer next time as well. Everett J. AutoLooks.net, #AutoLooks, @AutoLooks
