2019 Skoda Fabia SW
VW Auto Group still has a way with boxes.  They have come to love them and utilize them with everything they do.  Sure the three-box design was great back in early part of this century, but really it's getting old.
As with VW, Skoda has a knack when it comes to the three-box design.  They still use it.  When VW has moved away from this, it seems that Skoda is still on the bandwagon.  Sure, Skoda can still make it work, but someday you will have to move on.

The new Fabia SW is no exception to this language as they have over utilized all of the past features once again.  An updated front face is all this model has going for it, but when you check out its behind, then you'll know it's just the same old model.

Skoda has kept everything the same from the face back.  But a nip and tuck to the face should be enough right.  Wrong again Skoda.  We can see through your tricks and see what you are really doing.

Up front you will find something better to look at with an updated grille.  This new grille is what you will find on most of the new models from Skoda.  But on the Fabia SW, it really doesn't work.  This new grille gives the front end a snout appeal or in other words, its long in the tooth.

Now add in some refreshed.......um......well nothing much else is refreshed.  The new Fabia SW is a take on a old design.  Maybe VW will finally get the hint and do a total rebuild of this design someday.  But were not holding our breath.
