Foxtron may seem new to the game, but their technology is not.  Parent company Foxconn has been in the electronics game for a long time and now like Huawei, they want to go after a new market.  With partner Yulon Motor Co., Foxtron has set itself out to conquer the world of EV's.  Will they be able to do it?  Lets see.

With partner Pininfarina, Foxtron has set itself out the crowd with an over the top entry into the compact world.  Utilizing the extra space through the frunk, the Model B has one feature which may become popular on other EV's in the
future.  This integrated hood spoiler, adds a nice touch of sport appeal, while maintaining a proper balance.  The same could not be said about the ill fitted lower intake grille.  Without proper overflow integration, this product appears to have a last minute thought  appeal to it.  Let's hope Foxconn fixes this issue before the Model B starts rolling out.

Rolling down the side of this compact hatch, you find yourself immersed in a field of smooth flowing character lines and a field of gloss black accents.  These accents are a nice touch, but a bit overboard.  Had Foxtron added some art effects similar to that of the rear window accent plate, the side profile would have a been an even better place to gaze upon.

Out back you seem to wonder how you will backup this little car, as the rear window has been inset into a location which could make it hard for some to see out of.  Add to that its miniscule size, and you have an issue which requires resolution.  A bit lower you find yourself gazing upon a blank space which will surprise you went it becomes illuminated.  Sure, everyone has tail lights, but only Foxtron has lights with a charge indicator.  This could be a feature which brings to light their electronics background.  And it will help with a world of confusion of, "is it charged yet" questions.  Thank you Foxtron.

All around both Pininfarina and Foxtron have done a wonderful job in the creation of their entry market product.  Through acquisitions it seems that this company may hold a card up their sleeve into the North American marketplace.  With partners Lordstown and Faraday Future, we may see Foxtron a bit closer to home sooner than their Chinese counterparts.

We are glad to see another technology maker enter the vibrant world of electric cars and we hope to see this product on more streets around the world.  Let's just hope their American partners can hold it together long enough to warrant them entry into our market.
