Battery Park

   First came the plant, then came then came a name change.  Now Electra Battery Materials Corp. has been given the green light to get into battery recycling.  This is already on top of their planned expansions for the battery grade cobalt plant, which will now include the 

addition of battery grade nickel sulfates plant as well. 

​    Add to this an ambitious plan to create North America's first battery park, which will provide refined materials, finished cathodes and a battery recycling facility.  This is more in line with our podcast from 2019, where we outlined a need to build a park and possible battery plant in Northern Ontario as well.

    Could this be the start of a future which AutoLooks predicted over 2 years ago?  It could be, if Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Nio, Bollinger, GM, Toyota, Ford, Stellantis and Xpeng are listening in.
