Green Lexus

Lexus EV Range
Similar to their parent company, Lexus is getting serious about the EV game.  With the arrival of the first fully electric model from Toyota in 2023, Lexus is set to follow up with their own product as well.  But for the rest of the lineup, these concepts are showcasing the possibility of tomorrow.

With the rise of the EV market around the world, it seemed odd that Lexus wasn't going to get in on it.  Their competition is already ahead of the game with BMW, Audi and Mercedes having already moved into the ever growing EV market.  But with battery technology finally meeting the green conscious minds at Toyota, Lexus is finally in a position to make their move.

Taking their time to make sure they wouldn't be both left behind and fail to be green, Lexus is poised to go after segments which have not been hit yet.  Green sports cars are something which could take off in the future with dual car ownership moving back up.  But a sports car sedan and shooting brake, if it arrives will make for a new addition to the sedan and wagon segments.

With Hydrogen still on the mind of both Lexus and Toyota, it seems that an EV future is more certain for the time being, as we move to an electrified future.
