Green Toyota

Toyota Electric Vehicles
Seems that everyone was wrong about Toyota's electric plans, as today they proved you all wrong.  They still hold by their hydrogen aspirations, but are jumping into the electric fad that is upon the market now.  Even though they still don't believe in this market, they are putting all of the cards on the table now.

Everyone has to remember that Toyota pioneered the green car market.  Tesla may have gone all electric, but the first generation Prius was a proper step into the future back in 1997.

Hybrids may be on their way out, but they still hold a place in the automotive world for some time.  Toyota thinks so and that is why the Prius is not going away anytime soon.  These new EV concepts prove that Toyota is serious about the EV craze, but was waiting until the proper technology came around.

Toyota made the right choice, as now electric batteries are becoming more green than before.  Fist gen Tesla batteries are known for being hard to recycle and with their toxic materials, they don't really save the environment.  But with companies like Electra Battery Materials being able to recycle these toxic materials, the EV market is a bit greener.

Due to this, it is time for Toyota to jump into this market.  Hydrogen is still their dream power source, but until governments around the world start to take notice of its potential, the electric car market will continue to expand.
