2013 Acura ZDX front
2013 Acura ZDX rear
Its hard to think of someone taking a dog out to a field and putting him down "Old Yeller" style, but when it comes to cars, its a lot easier to handle.  In today's ever changing marketplace its hard to always hit the market with a sure fire winner.
That could be said about Acura's ZDX model.  Just like the Lexus HS, the ZDX has been taken out the field where many others have gone.  But unlike some others which will be missed, the ZDX is one of those fallen few who no one will remember.  Although it was a great idea for an up and coming luxury mark, the ZDX was a poorly designed failure from the get go.  If you consider the great designs of its competitors (X5, Evoque, and EX/FX) you might wonder why anyone at Acura would have ever let this cat out of the bag.  I guess for now we will just have to add this to our "Rusty" pile and hope that Acura does not bring this zombie back to life.
