2014 Honda Civic Tourer

Compact - Wagon

Honda Civic Tourer
With a final score of 68%, the new Civic Tourer is sure to turn a few more heads.  Honda has finally learned that you need to add a dark side to your cars to make them more appealing.  Now if they can only lose those large flat areas, they would be set.
Front End: B-
Good: This civic has crossed to the dark side of the force.
Bad: All too plain hood in need of some attitude
Rear End: C-
Good: A sinister pair of eyes
    Bad: Flat, wide and large
Side: C+
Good: Fast lines make this a quick car
Bad: All too flat bottom and cheap plastic
Overall Grade: B+
Good: Fast lines and a dark side
Bad: Oversized and bulbous rear lines, make this have a fat rear

OVERALL GRADE = B-

Since its inception, the Civic has not always come off as the best looking compact.  Well it seems that today the new Civic Tourer is about to change that.  With a visit from the dark side, it seems that Honda has finally made a wagon worth fighting for.

Up front the new Tourer is all dark side, with its sinister eyes, darkened in grille and killer bee air ducts.  The only real downside to this is that the hood could use a bit more attitude.  A centre notch or bump could have been all the difference between an 8 and 10.

Out back it's all holds bar, where Honda has held off on making the bumper and side wheel wells a bit too much.  Had they have brought in the side wells and smoothed out the bumper, they may have had a true winner. The rear bumper of this wagon comes off like an oversized bottom lip.

Overall the new Civic Tourer is sure to be a winner.  From its fast lines to its sinister eyes, the new Civic Tourer is sure to change the way we view Honda's.
