2014 Nissan Versa / Note

Sub-Compact - Hatch (rusty award)

With a final score of 34%, the Versa/Note gets a well deserved Rusty Award. If they lost all that cheap plastic, add in some chrome and put more sport appeal into the Versa, then maybe Nissan would have a great car. Next time they should be more like the Chevrolet Sonic and less like the Honda Fit.

Sub-Compact - Hatch

With a final grade of 51%, the new i10 is sure to fill the gap in the small car world. Of course that gap could have been filled by any car. Hyundai needs to wake up and add some fun to this little model.

With a final score of 43%, the new Fit is a sure fire winner of the Rusty Award. Too bad Honda added too much attitude to their fun little ride. It would have been better it Honda had kept some that attitude bottled up.

With a final score of 70%, the new Zisum is sure to heat up the compact hatch market in China. Now all they have to do is give it a sport hood and lose the pouting rear, and Changan would have a winner on their hands.

With a final score of 63%, the new Forte 5 is sure to be a winner in the Kia stable. It is too bad that Kia didn't add enough fun and attitude into the new Forte. Next time they need to lose the pudgy cheeks and out dated rear bumper and add in some hard lines.

Compact Luxury - Hatch

With a final score of 70%, the new S3 Sportback is sure to win the hearts of entry level Audi buyers. Too bad Audi has to keep using the same design language for every car. I guess that is why the R8 is the only Audi distinguishable from far away.
