2014 Kia Forte 5

Compact - Hatch

    With a final score of 63%, the new Forte 5 is sure to be a winner in the Kia stable.  It is too bad that Kia didn't add enough fun and attitude into the new Forte.  Next time they need to lose the pudgy cheeks and out dated rear bumper and add in some hard lines.

Front End: C+
    Good: The devil is inside the head lights
    Bad: Pudgy cheeks
Rear End: B-
    Good: A little bit of sport appeal to make this stand out from the rest
    Bad: One simple and plain rear bumper which takes away from the best
Side: B
    Good: A boomerang notch gives the side some much needed attitude
    Bad: Hippie daisy wheels are not a good fit for a sport-hatch
Overall Appeal: B
    Good: One fast and sexy hot hatch
    Bad: An all too common outline takes away from being a true standout
