​    With a final score of 42%, the XL1 is a true winner of a  Rusty Award.  I guess if you want to travel as far as you can on as little fuel as possible, you should expect your car to look this bad.  Maybe next time VW will add some more flare to this little Eco-car.

    Good: Evil enough headlights that blend in
    Bad: All too simple

    Good: I at least know what it is
    Bad: "Beam me up" taillights and a lack of rear window
Side: D
    Good: Smooth flowing body line
    Bad: Who the hell covers wheels
Overall Appeal: C-
    Good: In a world of its own
    Bad: Slow and has no real attitude
