​       Yes we know everyone has been waiting for the list of our 10 best designs for 2014.  And no not everyone will agree with some of the winners, but when it comes done to all of the aspects of what makes a car great, you may just understand. 

    For 2014 our top rated model and a car that will put the auto industry into a new direction, is the 2014 Lamborghini Veneno.  Yes, you may say it is one odd looking car, but when you stop and compare it to everything else out there, it is the only car that looks like it is from the future, not the past.

Rated: 2014 W Motors Lykan Hypersport

        The 2014 Lamborghini Veneno is one of the only cars out there that looks like it was designed to look into the future.  With its only past feature being the utilization of the hard edge profiles of the Aventador.  Another car that looked into the future and even today still looks towards it.  Yes, the Veneno is a limited production exotic that takes everything to the next level, but maybe that is what the auto industry needs right now.  We have seen a major slump in automotive designs over the past 25 years, with some cars today looking right at home in the 90's.  If you want to see for yourself take a look at an 89 Caravan next to a 2013.  They look like they are only 5 years apart.

        The true winners for best designs cannot be made on what is the coolest looking of the time, but what is made of the most forward looking aspects  The i8 shows us where we are going not where we came from.
