Truck - EV/Hybrid (A+ Award winner)
If this is what Rivian and Tesla are up against, then we all know who wins this beauty pageant. For 2021 Nikola wants to get into the domestic truck ring with their alternative fuel truck the Badger. Nikola has pull out all the stops as this truck not only look a whole lot better, it is also the only one that runs on both hydrogen and electric power. Seems Nikola has finally figured out how to get hydrogen to the masses and also keep their truck from having a limited sales area. By allowing this truck to run on both hydrogen and electric power, Nikola has made their product available to anyone. But if you want to run with the crowd then you have to be available in all their markets as well. Since most governments have been reluctant to help provide any incentives to create more hydrogen infrastructure, Nikola has decided to go dual fuel. This is great for most consumers as their are no hydrogen refueling stations across most countries. But by making this a by-fuel truck, this well give governments more incentive to increase the hydrogen infrastructure, considering customers of Nikola will be demanding it in due time. All around the Badger is worthy of its rating due to the fact that this design knows what market its in and what customers are willing to add for upgrades. Hard edges, easy to clean wheels and tires, extra lighting, running boards and all the protective barriers you require, make this the truck of trucks. The only other product with all of this, is the Ford Raptor. But when you want to take a market by storm, then you might as well find out what your market really wants and give it all to them. Nikola will see great success with the Badger and if they can get it to the market before Tesla finally does, then they might just win the ultimate truck battle. Everett J. COMPETITION: |
