2022 ford f-150 lightning - Full Size Truck - review
Seems Ford is on a rehash era, as they are bringing back some notable names from their past to help their future. As we have seen the Bronco, Mach and now the Lightning name return to the Ford stable. Although unlike its Bronco cousin, this new Lightning is nothing like its past. The Lightning name once graced the side of Ford's speed hungry performance truck, which fought with the RAM SRT-10 for the title of performance truck king. But this time around, Ford is utilizing this nameplate for their new electric version of the F-150. The name does fit as lightning is made of electricity and Ford wants to have a name which emphasizes its main power source.
All around the new Lightning is a well rounded truck compared to some of its competition. But in the end will this truck really be able to compete with some of its better looking and better setup competitors. Everett J. #autolooks Front End: C- Good: Wrap around front light band Bad: Cheap bumper protection is hiding only shame Rear End: C Good: Light accents bring out this main feature Bad: Rear camera size and placement infuriates the eye Side: C+ Good: Ligthning badges help you know what this is Bad: Wheel choice is bad from any angle Overall Appeal: C- Good: Resembles its I.C.E. sibling which makes this EV blend in better Bad: Siblings simple design could make it blend in too much
