4:30 am may seem like an early start to the day, but for AutoLooks it's just a regular morning.  But being that we have to travel nearly four (4) hours to get to the Toronto Auto Show, 4:30 am may have been a bit earlier than usual.  And that is why we have coffee and not just any coffee, Tim Hortons coffee to be exact.

With our mugs full of that double-double goodness and a full tank of gas, we are now ready to get on the road and head down to our closest auto show.

Well again it seems that Geneva is the show for all new green models and concepts.  Again we found ourselves immersed in a sea of green models which showcase both the future of mobility and the future of style.  Sure we all love green, hey it is the colour which we can see the most pigments of.  But a sea of green concepts is a pretty cool sight.

2016 seem to be the year of Green.  Green for both money makers and the environment.  And by that we mean a multitude of SUV, CUV, Hybrid and Electrics on tap.  Yes the 2016 Geneva Auto Show as all about the future and how to make more green for two parties.  Sure there were a few outlandish rides, but for the most part the showstoppers were about the green.

2015 Geneva Auto Show

Aston Martin DBX
Well it seems that 2015 is the year of reinvention and rejuvenation.  This year it seems that some of the biggest players decided to showcase some of the new models in their concept form.  Yes concepts can be just fancy was of showcasing new models without making you aware that they are new models.  Sure you may think new EXP-10 or DBX models may be concepts, but Aston is working on a cross-trex / CUV model and Bentley does want a supercar.

The darkness at 5:00am is great way to hide all of the ice which was created the night before by the freezing rain.  But that wasn't going to stop us from proceeding to CIAS this year.  And no if your wondering I did not fall on my ass on my way to my vehicle.  But I did come close.
That morning I had set my alarm to wake me up at 4:30 to ensure I was up in time to make the 4.5hr trip to down to Hogtown.  Yes you may say I'm crazy for travelling 9 hours in one day for a show, but it's worth the day off work.

Through the fog and light drizzle.  Past the high priced gas and Tim Horton's, brought us to gridlock and one of the most sophisticated toll roads in North America.  After which we decided to bypass the main 400 series highways and the QEW to bring us to beautiful Lakeshore Blvd.
Which in turn brought us to the parking garage just under the Steam Whistle Brewery.  Yes we had finally made it after just over 4 hours of travelling, but in turn we would not be disappointed.
