No this is not a joke, this is Scion's new sedan the iA.  If you are wondering why it looks familiar, then take a look at a Mazda 2 and you will see where this ride comes from.  If you think the frog Nissan Juke was a cool take on an animal, then you might be into the new fish face iA, as it takes the fish look to the next level.

Blast from the Past

2006 Lamborghini Miura concept

It seems that the retro craze is still not over, well at least from a design standpoint.  Even when Lamborghini said they would never bring back any past models.  Seems that they have broken their promise, well at least to the die hard fans they have. But unlike breaking a promise to your kids, this is a promise that was worth breaking.

Algoma's use of the AutoLooks font

Picture
We are always glad to meet a fan and in some ways are flattered if they want to use us for their own work.  But it seems that a fellow northern company has decided to use the same font as us.  Sure we were flattered when we found it as maybe this will help drive some more viewers to our site and vice versa.  But it was uncanny as to how much the new logo for the newly formed Algoma Steel Inc. was to that of our AutoArt page (see blow for reference).

Insurance Sexism is over in California

Car Insurance
We have all been there as males, when we got our first car.  But do you remember the shock you got when you received your first insurance premium quote.  Taking us back to the year 1999 when I first got my license, I remember the sticker shock I received when my

How two men changed the lowrider culture.

Picture
Well we have hit that day in Canada where it is now legal to smoke and carry marijuana.  Sure we still don't condone its use while driving, but we will talk about how two great men changed one car culture through their movies.

THERE'S A DOOR OPEN FOR YOU UP THERE GOOD BUDDY...

We usually don't get into politics of family matters, but today I found out that one of the people who had a major impact on my automotive insanity has passed away.  I won't divulge their name, but I will say a bit about them to pay respect to someone who helped launch me into the world of automobiles.

EV/Hybrids have a poor resale market.

Prius Prime
So it's that time again when we learn about which markets can hold their value and those who can't.  And again it seems that luxury sedans and the EV/Hybrid market are the losers of the automotive world while trucks and actual SUV's are holding their value well.

Infiniti Project Black

UAW's forced Opinions

If your one of those people who have a job where you think at any moment you may not have a job, then your one of the millions of people who are not part of a union.  Sure unions are a good thing to have, especially when you have a boss who has the power to fire you when you piss him off.  I for one work at one of those jobs, where everyday I wonder if my boss will let me go because
