Cupra has departed itself from the SEAT brand and has started to carve out a niche of its own.  Like Polestar, Cupra is aiming its sights on alternative power supply market, with its EV and hybrid options.  The Formentor is its take at the hybrid CUV marketplace.

Rated: 2017 SEAT Ateca

Like most of the competition the all new Formentor is a stab at the CUV and ALV marketplace.  It aims to provide its customers with a look which can be used in any array of scenarios.  Something that the marketplace is now looking for, as most consumers move away from their two (2) vehicle driveways.

Unlike its SEAT counterpart, the Formentor steps away from traditional and moves into a more sporting roal.  As Cupra was once SEAT's aftermarket brand, the Formentor is all about performance and great looks.  Utilizing a well designed air induction system to help keep your hybrid power source cool, while maintaining that sport appeal without going over the top.

Corporate websites: Volkswagen A.G.

All around the Formentor is a well designed product, with only a few minor tweaks needed.  From front to rear this product screams performance and oozes coolness from every pocket, as it leaves you thinking, "is this really a hybrid".

With its rise to a being a stand alone brand, Cupra may just be the future SEAT desperately needs to survive.
