A Yacht to remember

2020 Lexus LY 650 Luxury Yacht

Sure we may not be the place you go to when you're looking for a new boat, but when automotive brands branch out, we are there to show you what else they do.  This is no the first time that Lexus has jumped into deep waters as it has dabbled in the world of boats for years.
Toyota has their own pleasure craft division and Lexus has released a yacht before. But this time they are moving up in the world and moving out to the Miami cruiser market.  Sure speed boats are great fun, but a full on yacht is more fun.

Last time Lexus showed us its boat skills, we got to see a simple speed boat which was only good enough for quick overnight stays.  This was their version of a LC for the water.  But this time it seems that Lexus is diving deeper into the ocean as they are looking at creating the LS of the yacht world.  And it seems that they just might accomplish this feat.

The LY650 is one oversized creature in the water, but it does have a more tamed interior.  This is what may make it stand out from the rest of the crowd.  Sure a Lexus inspired exterior paint scheme is one way to make your mark, but a glass floor with an embedded Lexus logo is the best way to make a statement.  Add to that its sleek curves and smooth lines, make this yacht a spectacular sight on the water, and knowing that it's a Lexus makes all the difference.

So for us, the new LY 650 is one yacht worthy of making the grade with AutoLooks, and we have the chance to board one, we will be happy to know that the name isn't the only thing that makes it a Lexus.
