Who you gonna ride with?

    We all know the answer to the question, but how do the Ghostbusters get to their jobs?  You could say in style, or you could say, in a big classic car.  AutoLooks takes a look at how one classic Cadillac ambulance meant as means of travel, became one of the biggest cult cars of all time.

     Who you gonna call?   You know the answer to that question and how is gonna show up.  But have you ever thought about how they get to your house.  ECTO-1 is their main ride and even though the original movies didn't show much of there car, it did make an impact on automotive movie culture.

    ECTO-1 is a custom built Cadillac ambulance from 1959.  At the time of the original movie this car was only just hitting classic status being that is was only 25 yeas old.  Today ECTO-1 is far past its classic status as this car is now part of movie cult status.  As the original movies and cartoon showcased a classic ambulance with custom ghost fighting gear, we soon fell in love with it.

    Today ECTO-1 is living a new life and this time we really get to see what this car has.  Showcasing not only the exterior of the original ride, today we get to see what features this car has in store for ghost fighting.  As the cartoon sparked out interest into what ECTO-1 was really made of, the new movies are finally showing us what we all love about this car.

    So, follow AutoLooks as we take a look at the history and story of the original ghost fighting car, to find out more about the ambulance we all love.
