Can the Mall of the Future be real?

Electric Mall - AutoLooks
Malls have changed over the years and it seems like they are about to die out.  But can the electric future, which is upon us, help bring it back.  AutoLooks seems to think so.  This week we are taking a look at how the alternative fuel transportation of tomorrow, could help revive our once great malls.
Back in the 80's, the mall was the place to be.  Everyone went there, as it was the main building which housed every store you ever require.  And this was all under one roof.  It became the hangout spot of choice for teens of the 80's and 90's and soon would become a place to market new products to this group.

But like most great things from the past, its time has passed as most consumers have moved online. The rise of online sales and the coffee club culture has led to the demise of the mall, as the teens of the past have moved on.  Most have forgotten the great time they had their, as they have moved to online shopping.  Today's teens have never known the pleasure of social interaction which happend at the mall.

Today we have the opportunity to bring back this past time, as we move into an electric future.  The rise of the electric transportation network has led to a need for more commercialization and wifi networks, where EV charging stations are located.  With long recharge times, the malls of tomorrow could benefit from this, as a way to bring back the masses.

AutoLooks takes a look at this, to see how malls could help bring people and companies back together.
