Why are EV Batteries Catching Fire?

      EV's are taking off, but how safe are they for us and the environment.  Sure, the technology has been around for over 100 years.  But the batteries we are using now are relatively new for this scale of size.  Could this be the reason for fires, or is that just an issue we have to deal with through the growth stage?  AutoLooks will take a look at this question.

​      As our thirst for a new energy source for the automobile ignites, so do some of its new energy sources. Gas may explode under the right circumstances, but batteries can heat up faster and do require a great deal of cooling.
