Podcast Episode: 0022
Will the Grille be able to survive the Rise of the EV?

Future of the Grille - AutoLooks
Radiators play an important role with all I.C.E. vehicles.  But have you ever wondered if their cooling intake or the Grille will last forever.  AutoLooks takes a look at the past, present and future of the radiator covering, the Grille.  We uncover where this covering came from, what it has done and where it is going to wind
up.  You may be surprised about its possible future within the EV marketplace.  So, strap yourself in for one fun wild ride from the AutoLooks Podcast.

The front of vehicles since the dawn of the automotive era has always had something chrome on it.  Today you may not find any real chrome, but you will still find a front air inlet which helps cool your radiator.  But with the emergence of the EV marketplace this is a part which may not be required for future products.  But Why?

AutoLooks answers the question about the future of the front of our vehicles.  Can you imagine a future without a grille smiling at you? Neither can we, but that is where the future is heading to.  That is only if we can get away from our use of fossil fuels.

The front end of the future may look different than today, but yet we may still have a grille in the future.  It just may be lower on the front end, which means automakers will have to think of something else as the focal point of our front ends.

No one can say for sure of the grille will make it to the end of this century, but we do know it still has a place on vehicles for some time.  But that is all it has. Time.
