They are small and here to change out cities of tomorrow

Intercity Pods - AutoLooks Podcast
They're small and their here to takeover for our personal intercity travels.  Will they be able to carve out their niche or will they become a fad of days past.  Our cities need more room, but are these pods the true answer to our personal travels?  AutoLooks takes a look at this burgeoning market.

Small cars have been part of our world since the advent of the automobile.  Today with the massive growth in china and our obsession with living in the city, the need for better intercity infrastructure is at its peak.  Given that China has cities which have gone from fields to skyscrapers, in the last 20 years, its no wonder that they are really looking for an answer to this question.

Pods have been around for quite sometime, but never to the extent they are at these days.  Today China leads the world in pod vehicles, with their appetite for a more condensed way to travel and lack of space.  All hail the birth of todays pod vehicles as the Chinese auto manufactures answer the call for smaller intercity vehicles.  This has given birth to many new companies and many different points of view on how to tackle this feat.

On the other side of the continent, the need for smaller personal travel pods is greater than ever, as France leads the way in small cars.  Even on this side of the pond, the U.S. and even Canada are getting into this game.  Yes! we did say Canada.

Seems our home and native land, is taking a shot at this market as well.  Even with only three (3) cities which can utilize these vehicles, our fellow citizens are there to help this burgeoning market.

From the initial BMW Isetta, all the way to Microlino 2.0 Dolce, this market is growing and with a good cause.  Can you get into one of these pods today, or will it take some need marketing campaign to convince you to ride with them.  AutoLooks knows what may be the answer to this thought, but you'll have to listen to the podcast to find out.
