Episode 0038:

Picture
LEGO has come a long way from just being a plastic toy.  It has built itself into one of the biggest toy companies in the world.  And today they are helping the auto industry.  Speed Champions is not only a new product from LEGO, but a product made to help us have what we really want.  And unlike Hot Wheels, the Speed Champions line allows us to build it as well.  So sit back and listen to how LEGO change the auto industry.
Technic was just the start of something greater for LEGO.  And as the Technic lineup helped push the boundaries of what was possible with LEGO, the Speed Champions makes it possible for a greater audience.  As the age limit on Speed Champions is much younger than that of the Technic brand, it helps to open up the product to a larger amount of consumers.  This helps build the brand and make more people want it.
But that is just what it does and if you want to know more about this product, then sit back and take a listen to how it all started.
