How can we trim the fat off the EV market?

    Batteries are heavy and it seems the market has finally realized it.  Now auto companies are looking for ways to trim the fat from their new power source.  But how will they do it and can it be done?  AutoLooks takes a look at how this market has been able to trim the fat so far and how they are going about it for the next generation.

    Everyone knows how heavy a battery is and you don't, then pull the one from your car and drag it around a bit.  They are by no means light and we all know it, so why is it that out electric cars are still allowed to do the same things as their lighter cousin's.  

    Today auto companies are starting to take notice at how heavy their EV's are and what they are doing to both their mileage and the roads.  With a few ingenious ways so far to get round the mileage aspect, auto companies now are focused on finding lighter ways to make their batteries.
