Rise of the Sports Car

Will there be more sports cars in our future?

Rise of the Sports Car - autolooks
Where did all the sports cars go and will they ever come back?  With a lost generation of fun now behind us, can we make up some lost market share with the reintroduction of some new sports cars.  AutoLooks takes a look at how the sports car market is starting to grow again and what happened over the past, as it seemed that our fun little rides seemed to all disappear.

It may seem like the sports car industry is on its last legs, but with more interest from companies and better sales from the only existing products, this market is on its way back.  With an entire generation who missed the fun part of their lift, this market is starting to show signs of life again.  And with a lack of any new sports cars over the past two decades, this pool is drying up quickly.

With the introduction of the EV market and a lost generation hitting mid-life, a new market is now calling out for a bit more fun.  Sure, the mass of products we once had in the 90's, will never return, but the inclusion of a few more products will happen soon.  Even if not all companies get back into this world, we will still have a few more options in the future.

But why did this market retract and why is it only coming back to life now?  AutoLooks takes a look at this and more about the rise of the sports car market and why we almost lost it.
