Sports Cars seem to be disappearing today as we move away from the three (3) car driveway. This may seem odd to some, but unlike the 80's and 90's, this market is not as big as it once was. So, what happened and what does the future have in store for this market. AutoLooks takes a look at that and how tis market may grow once again.

Sports Cars were once one of those great markets. Taking hold in the late 70's, this market grew larger throughout the 80's and into the 90's. But by the early 2000's this market was starting to retract and what was causing this. Could the market have become oversaturated with products; was their a downturn in the markets; or had consumers just moved on?
This became a question for many, as this once growing market had dropped to just a handful of models. Worse to that, the up and coming Chinese and Indian markets, both had little interest in this segment of the marketplace. With a lack of interest abroad and out home markets losing out on the youth market, this once great market was starting to fall.
But like most great markets from before, there could be a silver lining out there. With a change to the work environment due to a pandemic, this market may have a future once again. With more of us in consideration of our second vehicle being a fun one, this market may once again come back to life. But can it happen? That is a question only AutoLooks can answer.
