Why is Ford getting rid of their only Jeep Competitor?

Trolling for Jeep - AutoLooks
Everyone wants a piece of the Wranglers pie, but not many manage to make a worthy product.  Troller has done so, but its new corporate owner may be its greatest adversary when it comes to taking on the king.  Follow us as we take you through the life and times of Troller and find out what Ford is doing wrong with this amazing product.
They may have started out life as a Jeep recreation, but they have proven to be more than just that.  After being seen on worldwide television saving trapped Brazilian families, Troller has become more than just another wannabe Jeep icon.  And now with the help of Ford they are hoping that their dream will come true.

Unfortunately their saving grace came a major cost and as of January 2021, Troller will be sent to the automotive graveyard in the sky.  Ford has announced that it will shutter its three (3) Brazilian manufacturing facilities, thus marking an end to the Troller nameplate.  The Troller plant will be the last to close, but in the end the brand will be phased out.  But why would a company choose to kill of an amazing product with loads of potential?  We may never know.

From its humble beginnings as a Wrangler counterpart, to its rebirth on the Ranger platform, the Troller T4 has lived an amazing life.  But why not give this product some life as a Ranger counterpart for parts of the world which won't get the new Bronco.  That is a question that only Ford themselves can answer, but AutoLooks can look into.

So come with us as we explore this little company, as we dive deep to find out what could have come from Troller Veículos Especiais.
