Episode: 0024

VW Amarok
Volkswagen has been in the truck market much longer than most know.  The Amarok wasn't their first mid-size truck and yet wasn't even their first Truck.
AutoLooks takes a look at how long VW has been making trucks.  The Amarok wasn't their first truck and won't be their last.
The Beetle seemed to have started something for Volkswagen.  Yes, they did actually start Volkswagen, but again it did start more than one product line as well.   Follow AutoLooks as they take you on a journey back to the VW's beginning, when they utilized that famous Beetle platform to help build more for their ever growing company.

Podcast: Beetle Love

Their foray into the truck market was a long one and even longer if you consider how long it actually took them to make their own mid-size truck.  Being the biggest automaker in Europe and No. 2 in the world could only come with a truck.  But how did they get there?  We have the answers you are looking for, so sit back and listen to how VW went from the Beetle to the Amarok.
