What happened to America's Luxury Brands?

    What ever happened to American Luxury Car market?  America once had some the best luxury brands in the world, now they only have one.  So, what happened?  AutoLooks takes a look at how the American luxury car market retracted from its glory days and where it is headed today.

    American Luxury once had its day in the sun and it could be headed that way once again.  Luxury in America was once where the best of the worlds luxury came from, with marks like Pierce Arrow and Duesenberg this market was once alive.  So, what happened to all these great companies and why has America lost its once great spark?

    Over indulgence could be seen as a major player in the fall of this once great market, but a collapse of their market coupled with triopoly of control.  The big three may have been big players in the automotive market, but they were also its downfall to being better than the rest.

   With the rise in imports during the 70's and 80's, America was starting to see that their once great luxury brands, were nothing more than watered down standard brands.  But how could these great American luxury brands once return to the world dominance?  With a little help from some smaller companies, they may be able to find their way back up the luxury food chain.

    Today America is once again proving its worth in the luxury ring.  But can the great products from the past, once again show the world how luxury in America is great, or will they fall back into their ego centric past?  That is question which AutoLooks will answer in this #podcast.
