Podcast Episode 0030:
Why is the Mustang going Electric?

Mustangs Electric Rise - AutoLooks
Evolution happens to all models and it can even happen to the best models.  Seems the Mustang isn't immune to the evolution as well as its new nameplate is a major change for the brand.  Follow AutoLooks as we take a look at the changes of the past to see how they impacted the change for the future.
After 50 years you would expect the best of the automotive world to make some sort of change.  Seems the Mustang is about to embark on that change, but really is it the first time.

Since 1964, the Mustang has been a name synonymous with Muscle Cars, as it gave birth to the segment.  But over the decades it has gone through a few changes, some of which most of us didn't agree with.  From the ill-fated Mustang II to the retro inspired model of 2005, the Mustang has gone through a few changes over the course of its life.  But for 2020 it is about to embark on its biggest change yet.  This time its going electric.

For 2021 the Mustang is adding an active lifestyle model to its lineup in the hopes of building on the electric craze.  But that's not all, this new model will be the first Mustang to ever feature four doors as well.  Can it be, can this really be happening to our famous Mustang.   Yes! it is, and it is going to happen whether you like it or not.

Ford knows that the coupe and sports car market are retracting and that the newer generation of buyers are drastically changing.  So, to keep up with this changing marketplace, they have decided to change their top muscle car.  But, can the Mustang survive this change.  Ford is hoping it will.

AutoLooks takes a look back to see why this change was inevitable and why Ford would do such a thing to the Mustang.  We reveal why they would do such a thing and more on this Podcast, so enjoy.
