What the hell just passed me?

Sleeper Cars - autolooks
Ever wondered what just passed you, as it only looked like your average car.  This is a question lots of people wonder everyday, as they get passed by plain looking vehicles with lots of power under the hood.  AutoLooks takes a look at the sleeper car market and how automakers are using it to their advantage now.

These are the cars who are waiting in the shadows for their turn to take the world by storm, as they have the power to take on the world.  Sleeper Cars are the hidden hero's of the aftermarket world, as they hide their true power beneath an average looking package.  Hiding in plain sight, these products seem like your average everyday product, but when you unleash their dark side, the world stops for a moment.

Ever since the rise of the automobile, there have always been vehicles which have hid their true power under a regular looking package.  By the 80's this was something which was starting to trickle down to the aftermarket world of production vehicles.  With a few rising stars, the sleeper industry was born and soon enough people would demand more from it.

Ownership of a sleeper product was not for the faint at heart, as you essentially knew what you were in for and why you owned it.  A sleeper car is not something for everyone, as it gives you the power to overtake and put people in their place, but with the rise of the aftermarket world from the Fast and Furious days, these products are starting to become more popular.

With a market saturated by performance wannabe's, its no wonder why the sleeper industry has grown to the size it is today.  But can this industry keep its quiet nature in the background or will the wrong consumers ruin it for everyone?  Only AutoLooks knows the answer to that question, as we uncover the background and definition of what makes a great sleeper car.
