How did Russia build a Rolls Royce Competitor?

    Aurus Motors may seem new to most people, but their road to creation was one that could inspire other countries to follow suit.  Come with us a we take a look at how Russia's new luxury automaker came to be.  From the initial idea to where it is going, we take a look at the all new Aurus Motors.

    At the end of the financial crisis every country was looking for a way to restart their economy.  With that in mind Russia's president wanted to use this mindset to help jumpstart the automotive market in his country.  Knowing that most major economies around the world claim at least one major automaker under their hat, he wanted to push for a second in his country.

    Aurus Motors wasn't just built out of a need to jumpstart the economy.  If that was the case, it would have been done years ago.  No, this company was built to showcase Russian technology along with providing their President a Russian built vehicle.  
​

    Now with the arrival of the Senat sedan, Aurus has become more than a presidential limo.  Along with a few other motorcade vehicles, Aurus is set to become a player in the luxury world.  And with the arrival of the Komendant this fall, their entry into the luxury marketplace will be complete.  Let's hope they survive the market as it would be nice to see some new luxury ideas from Russia.
